Arm & Hammer Spinbrush™ Globrush™ Review + Giveaway — a Modern Mrs.
The struggle is real, folks. The constant battle of getting L to brush her teeth regularly, and properly. /shakes head. We have tried timers, incentive, appropriate warning from her dentist, parental nagging, and many a toothbrush. I didn't think this kid would ever brush her teeth normally! Can you relate?

So, there I was, shopping at Target per usual, and I needed mouthwash. It had been a while since I really browsed the children's toothbrush area, because we usually stuck with the same ole' same ole'. But, guys, I was getting desperate. I'm not at all interested in gimmicky toothbrushes. We have been there, done that. I'm not interested in the powered toothbrushes that don't allow you change the battery. Those are wasteful. (We had two of those before, and the batteries died before the toothbrush was due to be replaced.)

Alas! What was this brightly-packaged toothbrush by Arm & Hammer? Want to know what grabbed me specifically? That little mouth diagram there. Yes, it lit up, but it lit up with purpose! The micro-pulsing brush head cleans around and in between teeth, and the neck of the toothbrush changes colors to indicate when it's time to focus on another area of the mouth. After two minutes, the light shuts off. Oh, and the fact that Arm & Hammer specifically mentions on the packaging that the battery is designed to last three months... Sold. L seemed pretty into it, too.

Since I can only speak to the general details of the toothbrush, you would find it helpful to know the comments made by my ten-year-old, since she's the kid using it. Here's the cut-and-dry of L's review:

  • Easy to hold.
  • Pulsation feels good — like a tooth massage.
  • Lights help me know where and when to focus.
  • I like that it turns off on its own.
  • It's fun to use — encourages me to brush my teeth.
No lie... That kid has brushed her teeth twice a day, every day, with only two reminders from me, and one of those was because her toothbrush was downstairs from filming our demo. She honestly does enjoy using her Spinbrush GloBrush!

Speaking of our demo, we filmed a short video to show you how the lights work.

Arm & Hammer's Spinbrush GloBrush is available in three designs, and can be found at Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Depending on where you buy, it will retail for between $7.99 and $12.99. But, before you go running out to buy one, I'm giving one of these bad boys away below!
