Deal of the Day: 10% Off at Madewell

1/31/2013

Were you aware I'm a member of People StyleWatch Style Hunters? If not, I am, and being a Style Hunter is an amazing privilege! Not only is it an honor to simply be a part of such a group, but it's doubly exciting to be the first to know about just-launched products, events and {the best part} promo codes for savings!

Speaking of savings, I have an exclusive Style Hunters code to share with you for saving 10% on your next Madewell purchase! {Earn 4% cash back with Ebates!}

Enjoy 10% off your next Madewell order with code STYLE10!

Madewell is also offering a "free shipping on everything" deal without any kinds of hang-ups. This deal is valid on any purchase through 11:59PM on Feb. 4, 2013, and orders will be shipped via regular ground. It is only valid for U.S. and Canada orders, though. Also, Madewell is offering an extra 40% off sale styles, but you need to use the promo code LOVE40, so you won't be able to use the 10% off code at the same time. {Not that you need to.} Of course, I couldn't share a great promo without sharing some of my picks. I mean, everyone needs a little inspiration now and again, right?

1. Mapview Storyteller Scarf ($48). I have been dying for a square scarf for some time {solely for its styling abilities}, and this sage green, map-print scarf has me sold! It's definitely more than I've ever spent on a scarf before, but the 10% off, 4% cash back and free shipping help ease my hypothetical pain. I've never seen anything like it, and I just love everything about it!

2. Two-Tone Sweater-Jacket ($138). Please keep in mind, these are simply my favorites of the new arrivals, so don't think I'm jumping the budget-friendly ship. I do love Madewell's style and flattering cuts, but I can't always afford the things I like... Such is the case with this jacket, but when it goes on sale..... {I love its retro feel!}

3. Silhouette Skirt in Lemon Twist ($88). Again, another retro-inspired piece. How fresh is this skirt? Its Rayon/Nylon/Spandex blend will keep you comfy while remaining stylish, too.

4. Silk-Front Tee in Colorpoint ($49.50). Now we're getting into comfortably-priced territory. This blouse was originally $68, but is now on sale for just under $50. It's a silk and cotton jersey blend for ultimate softness, and I'm loving the cropped, sheer sleeves and moderate flow in the torso area. {Dry clean only? Pfft. I have Dryel!}

5. Artdot Shorts ($59.50). Last, but not least, these cute black and white polka-dotted shorts. I chose these over a lace pair because they're not high-waisted. While I do love how a high-waist looks on others, I have yet to find a pair that didn't make me look... off. I bought a pair from H&M two summers ago and, well, I'm so self-conscious when I wear them! These appear to have a lower, more petite-friendly waistline, and I can see myself wearing them as-is, or over tights in the cooler Fall months.

Considering the splurge....

  1. I'm with you, I adore the retro feel of that sweater jacket! And I love the print on that square scarf, but I'm super partial to long scarves - don't think I could ever make the switch.
