Crockpot Meatballs Recipe

Football Food
Whenever we are attending a get-together or family function, I'm always hoping there will be a crockpot full of delicious meatballs. As far as crockpot meals goes, meatballs are probably my most favorite. Why? Three words: Cheap, easy, and tasty. This recipe takes five minutes to prepare (and by prepare I mean dump everything into the slow cooker and stir), the ingredients cost less than $10, and à la Pringles, once you pop you can't stop!

I hope you'll consider this recipe for your next potluck, family function, game day, or for a day when you know you'll be pressed for time and don't want to worry about what to cook that evening. Toss them in a hoagie roll for a meatball sub, or on biscuits for sliders, throw them over a bed of rice, or enjoy them as-is!

Crockpot Meatballs Recipe

  • 1 - 32 oz. bag of frozen meatballs of choice
  • 1 - 18 oz. jar of grape jelly
  • 1 - 18 oz. bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
Three ingredients! Can you handle it?

  1. Place the frozen meatballs into your slow crockpot/slow cooker.
  2. Add the jelly and barbecue sauce.
  3. Stir until well combined.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Additional Notes: This recipe can also be used for homemade (unfrozen) meatballs!

Will you be adding this recipe to your next meal plan?

  1. Our recipe is similar, but instead of BBQ sauce we use chili sauce!

  2. It doesn't get any easier than this! I have one that uses jellied cranberry and chili sauce. Will definitely try this version.
